If you’re a regular reader of my blog you know that I love doing mystery shops! I usually complete 2-4 mystery shops a month at various places including restaurants, grocery stores, stores at the mall, and even an occasional thrift shop!

I wanted to share with you a great mystery shopping company called Amusement Advantage. They are the place to go to find mystery shops for amusement and entertainment! I signed up to do a mystery shop at a local amusement park, but haven’t been picked (yet!) for the job.

You can sign up here. If you could put: theresacolleen@gmail.com as your referral it would be greatly appreciated.

They are currently looking for shoppers in the following locations:

  • Buena Park, CA and Santa Clara, CA
  • Muskegon, MI
  • Shakopee, MN
  •  Kansas City, MO
  • Charlotte, NC
  •  Mason, OH  Sandusky, OH
  • Vaughan, ON (CANADA!)
  • Allentown, PA

Tonight I went out to dinnner with my best friend. It was great to catch up since I haven’t seen her since I got back from Las Vegas! We went out to dinner at a nice steakhouse restaurant, shared an appetizer and each ordered an entree. Want to know the best part of the meal?

It was a mystery shop so the whole meal was actually free! I just submitted the paperwork and receipt and will be reimbursed for our complete meal.

I posted previously a quick introduction to Mystery Shopping here. I also featured one of my favorite mystery shopping companies Shopper’s View. Today I’m going to share another great mystery shopping company: Corporate Research International.
I have been a member of Corporate Research International since January, but just selected my first shop through them this week and will be completing it this weekend!
The thing I love most about this company is that if they don’t fill a mystery shopping job they’ll email you that the comission has increased! I just signed up for a shop which regularly paid $7.50 but since no one has taken the job they are paying me $22!
Some of the mystery shops I’ve seen available through Corporate Research International include:
  • Various Gas Stations (Speedway, Marathon, Exxon)
  • Papa John’s
  • K-Mart
  • Lowe’s
  • Aeropostale
  • Many More

Corporate Research International pays through Paypal or direct deposit.

Have you ever wanted to start mystery shopping but didn’t know of a company in your area? I found this great new website called Job Slinger that allows you to search for mystery shops only in your area!

Here’s a quick snapshot of the mystery shops available in my area. Job Slinger is great because it tells you the pay, distance from your zip code, and what mystery shopping company the shop is through.

Let me know if you have any questions. If you are new to mystery shopping check out the introduction to mystery shopping.

I previously did an introduction to Mystery Shopping and today I’m going to review one of my favorite mystery shopping companies, Shopper’s View.

I have done a lot of mystery grocery shopping through Shopper’s View. Sign-up is free and I can easily find 1-2 shops in my area per month through them.
After your shop you must submit your report within 24 hours. (some companies require it within 4-8 hours so this is actually much more lax).
All the shops I have done require a scan or clear picture of the receipt so you must have a scanner or digital camera to do your shops.
The only downside about this company is payment takes a little longer. If you do a mystery shop in January you will not be paid until the end of February. So it can take a little longer to get paid, but you do get payment through Paypal which is better than receiving a check.

Have any questions about mystery shopping or Shopper’s View? Leave a comment with your question and I’ll be happy to answer your question.
